To access the system, a user must first register and login using their user name and secret password. By logging in, they will be able to look at all of the information that they have permission to see. This includes all information they have created, as well as the information that has been shared with them by others. By doing this, sensitive information is only shown to the appropriate users and stays protected at all times.
If the user does not login, you can still use the system but will only be able to see information that has been shared publicly for everyone to see.
Enter the system URL into your browser address bar.
Click on the [New User?] link found on the login page.
Fill out your user profile details, keeping the following in mind:
How to register as a new user.
After completing the registration form, you do not have access to the system and information straight away. A system administrator or user account manager will look over the registration and give the right permissions and user group memberships to the user (see How do I manage user accounts?). Once this is done, the account can be approved and you will be notified.
Enter the system URL into your browser address bar
Enter your username and password and click [Login] to enter the system
If an error message appears, you may need to try again (check CAPS LOCK is off) or wait to have your account approved
Once you have logged on successfully, you can navigate to your [Profile] page found in the top menu
You can quickly link to the important parts of the system
When the time comes to leave the system, click the [Logout] link
