Data Collection, Storage and Analysis for Researchers

Research involves the collection, storage and analysis of considerable amounts of data.  ESS provides researchers with the tools that they need for managing this data, from collection through to analysis and presentation. This is particularly useful for larger projects involving multiple researchers across multiple field sites. Entire project teams can use a single centralised database to contribute data and to share the outcomes of any data analysis. A wide range of data can be managed centrally such as GPS locations, other spatial features, images, videos and audio recordings. Numerical values, dates and selection items can also be used to describe a wide range of research findings.
