Analysing local MER - SP-SC alignment
This post looks at the data visualisation tool explored in the previous post to analyse some of the features of the alignment between local MER programs and the SP-SC framework. This analysis is by no means exhaustive but points out some of the most outstanding features of these relationships (that occur to us at least).
Visualising alignment of Pilot MER programs and SP-SC framework
For a few months now, we have been exploring ways of visualising the alignment between local monitoring and evaluation programs with the strong people strong country framework. Because This is a key outcome of the project, selecting and developing an appropriate tool has been a priority.
Digitising the SP-SC Survey - making it accessible, simple and secure for Pilot groups
ESS has responded to requests from the groups and GBRF to produce an online, accessible and secure version of the Strong People - Strong Country Survey. It is now available through each groups mobile data collection tools and through their information management systems.
Welcome to the TO IMR Pilot Project Blog
This Blog has been developed to keep members of GBRF and the TWG up-to-date with what is happening on the ground in the TO IMR (Strong People – Strong Country) Pilot Project.
It offers updates about ESS's involvement with each of the TO Groups involved in the Pilot Project and outlines where on-ground work is currently being focussed. This isn't an exhaustive account of the work that we are doing, but offers short and meaningful accounts that indicate where energy is being spent and the outcomes that are being produced.
We also want to use the Blog to record and share some ‘Learning points’ that arise out of on-ground activities, which we understand is a really important element of the Pilot Project. Whenever possible, these Learning points will be offered and discussed as they relate to the updates – that is, we will try to treat each update as an opportunity for sharing what it has taught us, or might teach us.
