This research project aims to document the activities, lives and legacies of the Native Mounted Police across Queensland from 1849 until 1904 (for more information go to the official project blog).
Researchers from this Australian Research Council funded Discovery project sought assistance from ESS to develop a database tool that contains a range of interlinked information, including primary and secondary source documents, oral histories, spatial, site and artefact data.
ESS has assisted the research team to collate this information and present this information to a variety of audiences across a range of disciplines. You can check out the public facing website that ESS designed here.
