Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park

ESS has worked with Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for over 15 years to assist with the recording and management of cultural sites within the park. This formative partnership for ESS resulted in the development and implementation of the Uluru Cultural Site Management System, which has expanded over time, to provide the means for:

• Recording, managing and protecting cultural heritage and traditional knowledge 
• Cultural mapping
• Improving and formalising Traditional Knowledge guardianship
• Organising and managing fieldwork associated with cultural heritage management
